Ontario: Red Caravan Tour Fundraising [Saturday #Culture]
Join musical artists Amai Kuda, lal, Brixia Bloodbeard, and Sonny B as they embark on a journey making stops in Windsor, Maynoooth, London, Sudbury and more sharing their messages of social justice, anti oppression and personal stories.
The Red Caravan tour is supported by the R3 Collective. We are group of queer, Indigenous and racialized artists and allies. We use music, dance, theatre, poetry and visual art to raise awareness, raise funds and tell stories through the lens of decolonization.
What We Need
The artists of the Red Caravan are dedicated to keeping our admission costs as accessible as possible. We don’t want money to be a barrier to sharing our music, so we are reaching out to our community in order to raise $5000 which will cover the cost transportation for the 21 days of the tour.
How you can help
We are asking for donations starting at $10 all the way up to $1000. In exchange, you will receive great perks including a Red Caravan Tour compilation, t-shirts and even a private concert and more!
Other ways to help
If you are able to donate funds, that’s great, but here are some other ways to help:
Spread the word! Post on facebook and twitter etc and tell your friends about this campaign, use this link.
