TERRORIST

I just had to share this video from phenomenal rapper (checkout his video where he answers his critics if he can really spit grimmie!) and political activist, Lowkey entitled Terrorist.  I can recall growing up when Rocky had to beat the Russian, and Rambo had to kill anything that moved like a communist; now it’s everyone is a terrorist (code word for Arab, don’t worry my African people, our ontological being is that of an nonbeing that serves civil society be it through our deaths, playing basketball, you are still loathed just as much.  Had to mention that because I have heard child like explanations of this Arab xenophobia being a good thing for Negroes “You sees theys don’t care about us knows mo, it’s dem terrorists and messicans, Obamas don proved’ed that effin yous don’t akt likes a nigger thens u can bes the president.”  Yeah, I can’t make this shit up, have you seen a Tyler Perry movie?)  if they  look like a “Muslim”.  Lowkey brilliantly demonstrates that Western Imperialism uses Islam as a scare tactic to justify their imperial plunder, what makes him a genius is that he is able to communicate such complex historical events with creativity, brevity and accuracy.  In the end it’s not about Islam, Christianity, or Atheists, it’s about struggling against colonialism/imperialism.  Enjoy.

    I really relate to him, as a half-Arab, half-Bosnian living in America.
