OK, enough is enough, certain “African-Americans” (and I do mean “African-Americans” to be a pejorative jab) are taking President Obama’s proclamation of a post racial society way too far. The whole “he has to say things like that to fool the white folks” line is passé, and besides he won. Sixty African-American signatories of a letter, acting along the same trajectory of the latter rhetoric, have decided to take neo-colonialist posturing a step further by having the nerve to take it upon themselves to hop on the reactionary bandwagon of bashing Cuba, ironically to denounce racism in Cuba!

I know it’s insane, these Negros are located in the imperialist epicenter, but want to pick on Cuba. It was Cuba who stood in solidarity with liberation struggles in 17 African countries, to combat the imperial powers! Did Cuba do it for profit, did Cuba do it so they could have an IMF or World Bank like entity put a strangle hold on these African countries economy? NO! They did it out of a spirit of Internationalism. Let’s not forget it was the U.S. who overthrew Kwame Nkrumah, killed Patrice Lumumba, sent military aid to the apartheid South African government, and let’s not forget the terror Africans face every day in this xenophobic, reactionary, bourgeois democracy called America.

It seems these “African-Americans” are going for the gusto in an attempt to live up to post racial creed by denouncing their American Master’s foes; if they keep this up maybe Master just might remove that “African” from “African-American,” and just call them “Americans.” Wouldn’t that be grand! I guess that’s why I see so many “African-American” women wearing blond wigs these days and a resurgence of blue contacts in the “African-American” community; trying to get that head start on being American.
