SF: Fred Ho Speaks on Eco-Socialism
A performance and discussion with revolutionary composer, saxophonist, writer and activist Fred Ho.
Topic: Eco-Socialism, Revolutionary Luddism, Artistic Imagination and Fighting Cancer and Capitalism. Date: Sunday, March 11, 5-7 p.m. at 518 Valencia Street, San Francisco.
At the same event, speaking will be Rhonda Ramiro, Secretary General of BAYAN-USA, an alliance of anti-imperialist Filipino Americans fighting for national democracy in the Philippines.
Two new books: Diary of a Radical Cancer Warrior, and The Extreme Raw Manifesto, plus Fred Ho’s music CDs, will be available.
This event is sponsored by the Freedom Archives. $10 admission. Students: $5. No one turned away for lack of funds.
