New Orleans: Roots and Remedies National Conference
The Praxis Project and Communities Creating Healthy Environment (CCHE) are hosting our national convening, Roots and Remedies: Towards a Comprehensive Agenda for Healthy Communities, June 22-24th in New Orleans, LA. The aim is to collectively surface emerging and best practices to inform a policy centered agenda to connect the dots between critical issues like food sovereignty, the right and reclamation of public spaces, improving public schools, protecting human rights, increasing human mobility and more.
We hope you will join us in what we hope will be an opportunity to connect with other organizers and activists from across the country and beyond, take a deep dive into innovative practice and policy and help surface a set of policy priorities that speak to the needs of our communities.
This is an invitation only event. We would like to extend members of this list the opportunity to request an invitation and review more details. Please visit: http://ccheonline.org/node/377. Also, please be mindful about sharing the information beyond this list.
