Cleveland: Art for the People [Saturday #Culture]

“A Labor and New Deal arts traveling exhibit and LaborFest event in commemoration of the Little Steel Strike of 1937 is to be held at the downtown location of the Cleveland Public Library from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, February 23.

Live music and theater from that era will be featured along with a stellar panel of speakers to discuss that epic strike and the solidarity of labor and artists as cultural workers during that golden era of cultural democracy. Never before or since has our nation endeavored with such success to integrate high art with the everyday life of working Americans

Public invited, admission free and refreshments served.
