african women14 African Women and Revolutionary Politics: Part 1

In this two part episode of Watershed Zari Sundiata talks with Chioma Oruh and Iyapo Ngina to discuss African women and revolutionary politics.  Both Iyapo and Chioma are grassroots organizers and students.   This episode is in recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8th and it represents Watershed’s contribution to revolutionize these liberal celebrations. Interestingly enough when you visit the official website, there is little mention of African women, so we have taken on the charge of filling that gap.
